  • Website uses Paypal as a payment method. Orders must be paid in full before orders are started and/or shipped.

  • We do not take responsibility for incorrect use of weights, use of too many weights. By purchasing these weights you accept that we do not take responsibility for over weighting or incorrect use with dive weights. Please make sure you follow diving and free-diving protocol, if in doubt please consult a diving instructor for correct weighting methods. Hippocampus Creations and associates takes no responsibility for any injury, death or illness associated with the use of these products, they are used at your own risk.

    Custom and Premade items may vary slightly in colour to our online images or images provided as screens may depict colours differently. For any further assistance please contact us.

O Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping times are only estimates, all parcels will be sent with tracking which also shows estimated delivery.

  • National and international parcels are still being shipping out, but in the event we are unable to we will be in contact and ship your parcel at the next possible time. We cannot control how fast your parcel will get to you. Once it is out of our hands we cannot control the postal system time frames.

    Orders will still be created as long as materials are still available.

  • Pre-made/ready to ship items are posted within 5 business days. Custom orders are posted between 4-16 weeks after your design is finalised, times vary due to cure time and current work load. They are all processed and sent as soon as possible. We endeavour to have your items ready as soon as possible but sometimes weather and other external/personal factors can impact wait times.

    We take the utter most care with packing and shipping our items but it is up to the buyer if they want insurance on their item added as an extra cost for unseen hazards during shipping.

    Estimated shipping time frames do not include delays outside of our control.

    Australia – Australia Post – 7-15 days

    International – Australia Post International 10-40 days

  • Once your order has been packaged and posted, you will be sent a tracking number to keep an eye on your parcel. Please check your junk mail folder as some customers may find this email redirected to this folder. Please take note that customs have the right to stop your parcel for a considerable amount of time while conducting routine checks.

  • All parcels are shipped with tracking. Customer can decide if they want insurance on their parcel for an additional cost of $4 per 1kg (2lb). Hippocampus Creations packages all orders as safely as possible and take no responsibility for damages incurred while in transit if insurance is not purchased.

    If the paid shipping cost is less than the cost paid by the customer a refund will be processed for the difference.

  • Contact us to start a return. If your return is accepted, return postage is at the cost of the buyer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. Once your item is received by us in it’s original condition, we will process refund you.

    Full refunds for damages incurred while your parcel is in transit will not be honored if insurance was not purchased. Maximum of $100 refund available for non insured items, shipping costs not included for damage related refunds.

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  • We are not responsible for any fees applied after we ship your parcel. These may include taxes and duties applied from your countries customs or postal service.

    All payments of Taxes and Duties are the responsibly of the customer and may be determined on the value of your order.

  • Please double check your shipping address is correct before confirming your order. Once your order has been placed no changes can be made.

    If parcels are not collected, or are required to be returned to sender due to insufficient or incorrect information, postage costs are unable to be refunded. Once you have placed your order, you are committing to the sale and declaring that all information entered including the shipping address is correct.

    If you do find you have entered incorrect shipping information please email us ASAP and we will attempt to correct the error.

  • In an event that your parcel is held up or lost, it may take up to three months to receive an answer from the Australia Post Investigation Team. Unfortunately these are Australia Post time frames. We will keep you updated on any correspondance/ outcomes received.

    Signature on delivery can help avoid parcels missing if they are delivered and unfound. This can be purchased by the customer.

  • Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate and correct the issue.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on seconds, pre-mades, clearance items, or gift cards. We endeavour to match colours as close as possible but returns due to the colour not being an exact shade will not be honored as different screens may show the colours slightly different to what you see.

    Exchanges on new, unused products need to be notified within 30 days from the date you received the items. Any merchandise that has been worn or damaged through use cannot be returned or exchanged.

    All sales on seconds, clearance and pre-made items are final and cannot be returned, exchanged or replaced.

    Please retain your order information to assist in verifying the purchase date. Your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds of the original shipping costs. If an item is being exchanged, the items must be received and new shipping costs will need to be paid before new items are to be sent out.
